Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
WebGP/eConsult Service Closure
We regret to inform you that the as of the 30th September 2016 the WebGP service will no longer be available. The Practice has been part of the pilot for this service over the last year as we continue to look at ways of improving access for our patients.
Unfortunately the funding for this service has been withdrawn and we are unable to support this going forward.

Care Quality Commission (CQC) Inspection
17th March 2016
As part of its ongoing comprehensive inspection programme of all GP practices in England, the CQC visited Dr Milner & Partners on the 17th March 2016. The inspectors rated the Practice in accordance with their 5 key lines of enquiry and 6 main patient demographic groups.

Information for Patients
As of April 2015 all GP Practices will be assigning every one of their patients to a named GP. They will make sure that their patients receive appropriate care and support from the Practice.
All patients at the Practice have been assigned Dr Milner as their named GP.
Whilst Dr Milner will be responsible for the overall care and support each patient receives from the Practice, on a day to day basis you will not see any change to the way patients are able to access the surgery. Appointments are still available the same way as normal and you are able to see any GP of your choice at the surgery.
At all times the practice will ensure that it protects your rights to privacy.
If you are expecting a friend or relative to join in surgery, even if this is merely to pick you up after your appointment, please let reception know.
If we do not have this information the receptionists will not confirm your whereabouts to the person asking after you. To do so would breach the practice's rules around confidentiality.

The NHS Friends & Family Test
The NHS Friends and Family Test was introduced to GP practices in December 2014. The test gives all patients the opportunity to comment on the care, treatment and services provided by their GP practice.
Patient feedback is important to practices as it lets them know what their patients feel about the service they receive. The feedback helps the doctors to make decisions when reviewing services and making changes to improve the care they provide to their patients.
